UNITE PRE/POSTNATAL

WHAT IS UNITE?

Mommas and mommas-to-be UNITE! Join us for a functional, total-body workout that's also playgroup - or simply a great prenatal fitness class for any stage of pregnancy. Classes are designed for ALL fitness levels and can be attended with or without kiddos in tow.

Come for the workout, stay for the community.

WHEN DO WE UNITE?

Classes are held Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 10:00am and last one hour.

WHERE DO WE UNITE?

All outdoor classes meet at the base of Snow King by the picnic tables. We warm-up there to give anyone running late the extra time to catch up. Classes utilize our amazing surroundings to help enhance your workout. Should you be running late, join us when you can! If you don't see your pack of Mamas when you arrive, stroll up to the ice rink and you'll most likely run into them.

*Class will be held at Revolution when weather doesn't cooperate. Strollers not needed indoors. Please make sure you are signed up for class and have your phone number in your account so we can contact you on those days,

WHO CAN UNITE?

  • Perfect prenatal class with or without kids in tow
  • Mamas of stroller-age kiddos (school-age kids welcome to walk/run along)
  • Dads more than welcome
  • Nannies encouraged to attend with parent approval

DO I NEED TO RESERVE A SPACE?

While it is not required, we always recommend you reserve your space prior to class. It is not only helpful so the instructor can ensure enough equipment for everyone, but should we need to contact you for any changes from location to last minute-schedule changes, this is how it would be done. Space is not guaranteed without a reservation.

WHAT TO BRING

Everyone should bring plenty of water, yoga mat/towel/blanket and wear sunscreen (for outdoor classes). For those with little ones in tow, you'll want to come with all necessary baby essentials including snacks, toys, and stroller of any kind.

*Jogging strollers are not required. As long as the stroller is sturdy, not prone to tipping and all children can be safely strapped into their seats for the duration of class, it will work just fine!

I JUST HAD A BABY, WHEN CAN I JOIN?

You can start attending class with your doctor's clearance to begin exercising, typically after your six week postpartum appointment.

CAN I ATTEND IF I'M PREGNANT?

Absolutely! Exercise during pregnancy has proven beneficial and we encourage expectant moms to continue to exercise throughout (as long as everything has been approved by their physician). Instructors are qualified to lead pre/postnatal fitness programs that follow the latest American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) guidelines. We can modify any exercise that poses a challenge as you progress through your pregnancy.

My Baby doesn't like being in the stroller for too long, how will I get a good workout?

Your little ones are priority, so don't worry if yours become fussy during class! Our classes are designed to keep the kids moving and engaged. With that said, if you need to change, nurse or console your baby, please do so (you will be in good company). Kids have good and bad days and we all understand!

WHAT IF I NEED TO FEED MY BABY DURING CLASS?

We've got your back, Mama! Stop anywhere and anytime you are comfortable and when it is necessary.
